Maqetin will show which message made the money.
Planned: Maqetin will report revenue per journey, step, campaign and channel, with the attribution model and window written next to every number, and holdout groups will show what would have happened without the message.
Planned reports, drawn with sample figures for Tamarind Market, an online store in Singapore.

Lift will be measured against people who got nothing.
Some customers would have bought anyway. A global control group, between 1% and 15% of your audience, will receive no marketing at all, and any journey will be able to hold back its own slice. Lift will compare the conversion of messaged people with that of the people held back.
A/B splits and holdouts in journeys are planned →Retention by cohort will run from day 1 to day 90.
You will group people by sign-up week, first source or any event, and click a cell to turn those people into a segment.

How the numbers are counted.
Bot clicks are left out today. The other rules will apply in every report, so a journey's click rate compares directly with a campaign's.
Every rate will name its divisor
Opens ÷ delivered or opens ÷ sent will be written under the number, never assumed.
Clicks over opens
Apple Mail inflates email opens, so revenue reports and journey goals will count clicks.
Bots left out
Security scanners click every link. Those clicks are flagged and never counted or acted on.
Unreachable people will be left out
Planned: someone with notifications off can't open a push, so they won't drag down your push rate.
